Central Otago Rail Trail What a trip!! We did the Central Otago Rail Trail with Bike it Now and found them very professional and a real pleasure to deal with. We did the ride over 5 days as we just wanted to take our time and take in all the breathtaking scenery. We had never ridden e-bikes before and boy didn’t they make it easy, we have been converted!! We could not fault anything on our trip, the accommodation was excellent, the trail was amazing, food was great and the weather gods were with us all the way.

If you want all the hassle of logistics taken care of and just enjoy the ride, this is the company for you With the world in such a state at the moment the one piece of technology that will make this trip and region a must go now is the E-Bike. This truley makes this trip open for everyone. We booked with Bike it Now. This is a competitive space and "Bike it now" rises to the challenge in this space. Whist we did not have the pleasure of other companies to compare, doing this trip again we would not hesitate to use them again. I had to modify my schedule due to work twice firstly the actual date and then when there a break day for a zoom meeting. There was no eye rolling, it was just lets see how we can make this work. If you want the logistics to be taken care of and just want to ride in what is the most spectacular country of NZ then this company is for you. They cannot change the weather, and this will always have an impact on lens through which you see the experience, we were so lucky to get crisp autumn mornings and sunny days. This was a solid 8 out of 10 experience.

Lovely unspoilt views on the 4 day Otago Trail We had been going to book bikes to do the Otago Trail with Bike It Now but when my husband enquired about adding a lift back to the start, they suggested a full itinerary for us. This seemed good value and meant we didn't need to think about where to stop each day or book our accommodation and the luggage was moved smoothly. This meant we could concentrate on enjoying the scenery and the ride. Good company from other couples and small groups doing the ride as you overlap when cycling and meet over dinner in the evenings. The accommodation varied, some was excellent but all was good (Wedderburn the most basic we had) and it turned out tables had been booked for us to eat out each night. The meal bookings were not showing on the itinerary and that would have been useful as we initially panicked a bit that each place we rang directly said they were fully booked! Good e bikes and other equipment. Very good briefing at bike pick up - particularly useful to know where was open each day for picking up lunch/coffee stops.

A ride to remember Claire organised our self-guided bicycle tour from Clyde to Middlemarch. We had briefings from Kate about the route, the food stops and the accommodation. Carl then gave us a thorough briefing of our ebikes. We loved the farmland vistas, the food, the wine, the cottages and the hospitality of everyone we met. The sun shone on all of our days except for strong winds on one afternoon. Another great thing about Bikeitnow! is that they were always available on the phone with answers to our questions.

The Big Loop Ride The Big Loop cycle ride is a winner. We were a group of 3 retired couples and our route incorporated Otago Central Rail Trail, Taieri Train to Dunedin, Mt Cargill and Otago Harbour excursion loop, Clutha Gold, Roxburgh Gorge and Lake Dunstan. The rotation was correct allowing less experienced riders to gain confidence before the later more technical stages. The weather ranged from terrible to brilliant but didn't detract. The autumn colours were spectacular. Each day unfolded into surprising new vistas and experiences. Many thanks to Fletch at Bike It Now for a seamless adventure holiday experience.

Fantastic!! We had a fantastic trip all thanks to the organisation of Steve from Bike it now. We were a group of 14, and he organised a 4 day/night Otago Rail trail Trip which we couldn't have done with out him. I would highly recommend

Family of 5 Rail Trail My wife and I did the 6 day trip (incl. a rest day in Naesby) with 3 kids (12,10,6). We had an amazing experience 5/6 days of beautiful weather. The Bike it Now team we're a well oiled machine, Claire in particular did a great job adjusting to last minute requests from us for bike changes and transfers at start/end. Accommodation was great. Bikes were good quality. The briefing at the start was great where they explained the food/snack stop options along the route - critical with 3 kids. And on the last day (the 1 day with bad weather) they were super helpful in organising an 'evac' for our youngest. Would recommend.

Do the Otago Rail Trail with Bike it Now Steve, from Bike it Now put together an amazing trip, with wonderful accommodation, fantastic bikes and we had a great trip. They even let you know were to go for lunch stops on the way. What a fantastic way to see the country. Thank you so much for thinking of everything and making our trip so enjoyable. Bike it Now are a great company to do the Otago Rail Trail with and they take your bags and return you to your car at the end.

Goede trail om te fietsen en we kregen goede kwaliteit fietsen mee. Uitleg over waar te stoppen voor koffie en iets lekkers . We hadden ook super weer voor een winterdag in NZ.

The team at Bike It Now in Clyde were fantastic; they booked me in at Wedderburn Cottages for a night in an ensuite cottage which was very comfortable, cosy and warm and the return shuttle from Middlemarch back to Clyde. Kate at the Clyde shop gave me a great detailed briefing on my ride route, showing me, places of interest and good food stop options along the trail with a full itinerary folder to take with me. Highly recommend the friendly and professional team in Clyde and will definitely use them again in the very near future.

I have just finished my third trip with Bike It Now: including the Otago Rail Trail (3 times), Roxborough Gorge, Clutha River and Dunstan Lake. I keep coming back to Bike it Now because they do an excellent job of all facets of organising the trips: bikes, accommodation, advice, shuttles....everything. The shuttle to and from Queenstown makes the trip very easy. And all the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. 5 Stars, recommend and hope to be back.✨

There are several companies on the market but not all of them offer the same service and, even more important, the same material. The e-bike I got from Bike it Now! was a very good and recent one, with a good autonomy. Very friendly and professional staff, both in Clyde and Middlemarch. Absolutely no issue on the trail. Cycling 1500km Sounds2Sounds & my ebike charged lights went off !! Total battery failure !! Supportive staff member, Hunter, of Clyde BikeItNow, was awesome to step aside & help, both verbally on the ph & then when I arrived, where he took my 4yr old Specialized Levo aside & inspected as closely as possible for reason of original fault, as thankfully by now, it had decided to ‘wake up’ !😳🤣
